Milky Gloss White Soup Bowls

from $24.00

These bowls are a fantastic size for soup or a dinner salad. They could be used for pasta or chili or cereal, any meal or snack is enhanced by a handmade bowl. The simple warm white is a lovely neutral that will work beautifully with almost any decor.

Dimensions: These are just under 6" across, and just over 3" tall. These bowls easily hold 2 cups or more. Please note, these are handmade objects and the measurements are not exact. Expect some subtle variation in the size or color of each piece, though this particular glaze is pretty consistent in it's color.

You can purchase these bowls as a single bowl, or in sets of 2. The price of each bowl will be discounted by 2$ if buying a set of 2. Adjust the ‘Single or Set’ option to choose, then you can increase the quantity if you’d like to purchase more than 1 set. Please message me if you would like to order more than I currently have available.

These pieces are made with cone 5 Bmix clay on my potters wheel. A subtle spiral shape is pressed into each bowl, giving fingers a nice place to rest and making each form a bit unique. The bowls have a flat foot, pressed in as the piece was thrown.

These bowls were glazed in Milky Gloss glaze. This is the same glaze used on the Robins Egg bowls and mugs, the Gray and White Swirl bowls and mugs, and the Cobalt Blue and White bowls and mugs. These can be mixed and matched, they all work nicely together. The bowls were fired to cone 6 (around 2200° F) in my electric kiln.

All of my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe.
