Robins Egg Blue Salsa Bowls with Milky Gloss White Liner and Rim
Robins Egg Blue Salsa Bowls with Milky Gloss White Liner and Rim
These cute bowls are perfect for salsa (a favorite of mine). They could be used for nuts, candy, or a small helping of ice cream. Their size makes them great prep bowls. These bowls are a lovely pale blue green, and could also be a cheery countertop bowl for stashing rings, or a special home for small keepsakes.
These pieces are made with white cone 5 Bmix clay on my potters wheel. A subtle spiral shape is pressed into each bowl, giving fingers a nice place to rest and making each form a bit unique. The bowls have a flat foot, pressed in as the piece was thrown.
These bowls were glazed in my transparent Robins Egg Blue glaze, with White Liner glaze on the inside and around the lip. They were fired to cone 6 in my electric kiln.
Dimensions: Approximately 4 1/2" across the lip and 2 3/4" tall. These bowls easily hold 8 ounces or more. Please note, these are handmade objects and the measurements are not exact. Expect some subtle variation in the size or color of each piece.
Note for this specific clay and glaze combo: The depth of the blue green color will vary slightly based on the thickness of the glaze.
You can purchase these bowls as a single bowl, or in sets of 2. The price of each bowl will be discounted by 2$ if buying a set of 2. Adjust the ‘Single or Set’ option to choose, then you can increase the quantity if you’d like to purchase more than 1 set. Please message me if you would like to order more than I currently have available. (email: jillspawn@jillspots.com).
I currently have 6 of these. If you’d like to purchase all 6, please message me at jillspawn@jillspots.com and I will adjust the listing so you can purchase them all.
