Lilac and Milky White Oil Bottle

$40.00

Add a lovely touch to your kitchen or table with this handmade pottery bottle, glazed in glossy lilac with soft milk-white accents. Perfect for serving infused olive oils, specialty vinegars, or simple syrups, this piece is both functional and decorative. The soft purple glaze pairs beautifully with a variety of décor styles—from modern farmhouse to cozy cottagecore.

The spout is removable, making the bottle versatile enough to use as a small vase for fresh flower buds or herbs. The swirl shape and slip texture makes this bottle a pleasure to hold and use. A unique and elegant piece for everyday use or special occasions.

Both a metal spout and a clear plastic spout is included with this bottle. The plastic spout is best if using the bottle for vinegar. All of my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe.

DIMENSIONS

The bottle stands 5 1/2 inches tall. The metal spout adds over an inch and a half, the plastic spout also included will add about an inch. The bottle easily holds 11 ounces.

The bottle was thrown on my potter's wheel using cone 5 BMix clay. The texture was added around the top using a thick layer of slip (clay and water blended to a milkshake consistency) and a jagged brush. This piece was glazed with Milky Gloss white glaze on the interior and the lip. The outside of the bottle was glazed with my Lilac glaze. This bottle was fired to cone 6 in my electric kiln.
