White and Robins Egg Textured Gray Splattered Bud Vase

$32.00

This unique and fun little vase can spruce up any space. It's a nice small size at about 5 1/2" tall, perfect for a bathroom, office or end table. A vase this size is easy to utilize, and the robins egg, gray and white color combination is so pretty for spring.

The vase measures 5 1/2 inches tall, about 2" across the lip, and just under 3" across the belly. The neck is just wide enough for a few flower stems or feathers.

The entire piece was glazed in white Milky Gloss glaze, which is a creamy white glaze transparent enough to let the colors show through. The piece was fired in an electric kiln to cone 6.

All of my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe.

I created this vase on my pottery wheel using cone 5 white BMix clay. The robins egg slip (a blend of clay and water) was added to the pot white it was wet on the wheel. Once the vase and initial layer of slip had dried about half way, I added the splatters of gray slip.
