Lavender Pearl Planter with Attached Drainage Saucer

$37.00

Bring a soft pop of color to your space with this handmade ceramic planter. Wheel-thrown and finished in a layered Pearl and Rutile glaze combination, this piece features gentle washes of lavender, blue, and soft plum tones. It’s both functional and expressive-designed to highlight your plants while standing beautifully on its own.

The rounded form and slightly narrower base give it a grounded, comfortable presence, while built-in drainage holes and an attached saucer make it easy to care for your plants without worrying about excess water.

Details
This planter measures a little over 4.5" wide at the lip and about 4" wide at the base. It stands approximately 3.75" tall, with an interior depth of about 3.5". Two drainage holes are built into the base, each about the size of a small fingertip. All of my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted.

Use
A great fit for small houseplants, herbs, or succulents. This piece works equally well indoors or outdoors—perfect for a windowsill, shelf, desk, or patio.

Process
This planter was thrown on my pottery wheel using Sonoran White, a white stoneware clay. The surface was finished with a combination of sandy Pearl glaze layered across the upper form and Rutile glaze rising from the base. Where the glazes meet, they create soft, fluid transitions in lavender, blue, and muted plum. The piece was fired to cone 10 in a reduction atmosphere.
