Lavender Tan Swirl Mug

These handmade stoneware mugs feature my lavender pearl glaze combination, a soft, luminous blend of lavender, periwinkle, and warm golden tones that highlight the swirl texture. Each mug has a fluid form that feels as good in the hand as it looks on display, bringing a touch of artistry to your everyday cup.

Details
I have 2 styles, as there is a slight size variation in this batch. Style B is slightly bigger.

Style A: Stands approximately 4.5" (inches) tall and measures 3.25" across the lip. They hold 12 ounces when filled to the rim. These 2 mugs are nice and light, weighing at or just over 13 ounces.

Style B: Stands approximately 4.5" tall and measures a bit over 3.5" across the lip. They hold 13 ounces when full. These 2 mugs are a bit more sturdy, weighing at or just over 14 ounces.

Made from Sonoran White clay and fired to cone 10 in reduction, they have a smooth, durable surface. Because each piece is individually wheel-thrown, slight variations in size and glaze pattern are part of their handmade character.

Use
Perfect for morning coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or your favorite cozy beverage. The comfortable handle and gently rounded form make these mugs easy to hold, while the swirl texture adds visual movement and tactile interest. All of my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Options
These mugs are available individually or as a set of two. Each mug is unique, but they complement one another beautifully as a pair. Choose ‘Mug Style A’ ‘Mug Style B’ or ‘set of 2 mugs’ in the drop down selection (just above ‘quantity’).

Process
This piece was wheel-thrown using Sonoran White stoneware, trimmed and detailed by hand, and finished with my layered lavender pearl glaze combination. It was then fired to cone 10 (around 2350° F) in a reduction atmosphere, a process that creates the rich, varied tones and organic surface effects characteristic of this glaze.

The mug stands around 4.75 inches tall, and just over 3 inches across the lip. They hold around 12 ounces, and all of my pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe.

This handmade wood-fired ceramic cup reveals the beautiful unpredictability of wood firing. Woo Blue and Rutile Pedestal Bowl

This handmade ceramic pedestal bowl combines a generous, gently curved bowl with a sturdy raised foot, giving it a low, sculptural profile. Deep blue and purple tones cover the exterior, with subtle variations and flashes of lighter color that become especially apparent as the surface catches the light. Blue Slipped and Dented Rutile Bud Vase

This handmade ceramic bud vase has a softly rounded form that has been intentionally altered with a deep indentation along one side, giving the piece an organic, sculptural character. Blue slip beneath the glaze follows the contours of the altered surface, while the glaze flows and gathers around the indentation, creating a beautiful sense of movement through the blues, lavender, and warm earthy tones.
