This large wheel thrown ceramic jar is a functional piece of art. This jar measures 7 inches tall to the knob and 6.5 inches wide at the belly. Without the lid, it stands 5 inches tall. The base is approximately 5 inches wide, and the inner opening measures 3.75 inches across, and it holds 5 cups.

One side of the jar was exposed to an oxygen draft during the reduced oxygen firing. This created a lighter effect on about a 1/4 section of the pot, which is very visible in some pictures and in the video.
